Where do I start... what if Giardinos might be the best pizza outside Brooklyn and there Bronx. All my friends know how critical I am pizza. Cheese, sauce, crust and, of course, the ratio of cheese to sauce and crust all matter. The cheese cannot be cheap, too salty, vigilant or oily. It must be quality cheese. The sauce cannot be too salty, sour, bitter or sweet. It must be perfect and made with love. The crust cannot be too thick, thin, under or over boiled. Neapolitan slices must be folded and not flop or tears... Good pizza is a science, great pizza is an art. Nino (the owner) and his chefs are artists. The pizza was great! We were greeted with flowers upon entering for Valentine's Day, which was a lovely touch. We ordered two different eggplant dishes, and both were delicious. The staff was friendly and made us feel at ease without any sense of rushing. The prices were reasonable. We definitely plan to return. Thank you, Giardino's, for a wonderful dinner experience!
