I have enjoyed Gibney's Pub in the past, but at DragonCon we had the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The service and kitchen staff imploded, with them collecting orders and money from more than they could serve then having no idea what was ordered, how to prepare the food, or how to move the delivery of food along. After they took our money, we had to wait over an hour with no line movement, and got cold, terrible food once we finally got anything. Stay far away, especially during events. A real tragedy for a restaurant that was a beloved tradition.
A life saver during dragon con. We ate here twice during dragon con. The food is delicious, the service is fast, including the manager taking orders when needed. I was awestruck that the prices were completely reasonable in an area where all restaurants tend to overcharge con goers. The only negative was Saturday night. The music was too loud for our taste it was more of a party atmosphere. Friday and Sunday were splendid though. I highly recommend Gibneys.

My husband and I visited downtown Atlanta from out of town, and I think we may have set our expectations too high. We were quite disappointed with this pub. The food was subpar, the drinks were overly sweet, the service left much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere didn’t match our expectations. On a positive note, they do have a free pool table! Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend this place or choose to come back.

Beautiful Irish pub in downtown Atlanta. The menu was small, but that's okay. I had the fish and chips. Very nice large files of cod. Not too fat like a fish. The homemade tartaric acid sauce has perfectly paired. Also you can not beat Guinness on tap from an Irish bar.
My son said it was the best burger he has ever had!! That's something from a 12 year old. The BBQ flat pizza was tasty and loaded with chicken! Saved the best for last! The wings were tender! The wings had a delicious smokey flavor throughout.
I love it here! Food was great, fresh and quite fast!! Pool table available for my family to enjoy while waiting for dinner arriving.. Comfortable location!! I wanted to eat two out of three days.
