The restaurant itself was not as warm/pleasant in terms of decor/setting as I'd expect from Carluccios; the atmosphere was more like a cafe. However our waiter was absolutely fantastic; he was very friendly and efficient, made us feel very welcome and did a great job. The food was absolutely delicious, even though they were short-staffed and only had one chef there.
We really enjoyed here. We booked early in the evening, so had a table in the window. The fork festival menu was a bargain, even when supplements were included. The dishes were as of the a la carte menu, which meant the desserts were unbelievably good value as they were included. I would recommend the panna cotta, there's a good tiramisu for the nay sayers!
Delicious food and attentive service. We dined in for lunch and the price per person ranged from £20 to £30. The food and service both received a rating of 4, while the atmosphere was rated a 3.
A disappointing meal here today, particularly as I last meal was so good. The chicken was dry and quite tough and the mussels were in a rather anaemic sauce. Mushroom soup was excellent. Réservez une table maintenant
Delicious meal, the second glass of wine we ordered didn’t come in time to eat with the meal so we sent it back. But very kindly we were given a complimentary dessert.
Charming Staff and acceptable food in a good atmosphere. Easy to find and good nearby parking in a busy part of Chichester. Reasonable prices and good menu choices
