They tell me the locals frequent the Gill Street Café, some more than once a day! It must be good.I definitely chose incorrectly for my lunch, chose from the breakfast menu and chose something I normally would NEVER eat, so my problem if I didn't enjoy. Ample serve, so shared with two others. They shared their main plate and quite honestly all were well presented.Coffee good.If it is raining, which doesn't normally happen much in Perth, though for the last 2 weeks it has been torrential, suits us from WA but not good for visitors, the seating is limited inside, but if fine plenty of seats and table outside, and nice very warm gas heaters.The café is cute, and I will try it again though this...
Gill street used to be my cafe away from home. Unfortunately the seasons changed and my favourite dish was taken off the menu. On the plus side the replacement dishes are pretty good- a bit hale and hearty for my easily filled belly but still good. I avoid pancakes every where else except at Gill Street. The pancakes at Gill street are lovely and light with honeycomb butter, fresh strawberries and maple syrup. A very nice, small homely cafe in the suburb of Mosman Park in Perth. Seating is inside and out on a large verandah under cover. Serving a variety of eats which I think change from day to day, there are wraps, sandwiches, cakes and all manner of delightful eats displayed at the counter where you order and pay and then your food is delivered to your table. The more standard menu items are displayed on boards inside where you can browse and order. This cafe is very popular and seating can sometimes be a problem as is parking in the street. Worth a visit though if you are in that area.
A lovely spot for breaky, brunch, lunch or coffee. The coffee is fabulous and they have a great selection of homemade goods, healthy vibrant salads and all day breakies.As a muffin connoisseur I would say their muffins are too dry and a bit tasteless but they do look good!The service is always good and on weekends it's often tough to get a table.

Took my teenage daughter for a chat. Ordered a muffin which didn't arrive. My daughter finished her meal and still no muffin. Asked several times for them to follow up. On approaching the till was told I was never charged and made to feel it was my fault. Definitely not the way to deal with a regular customer.
I am a regular customer and am always pleased with the standard of the coffee, food and service. Great place for breakfast and brunch. The place is full of regulars which is a good barometer for its standards. Highly recommend.
Just popped in for a brekky roll and coffee. The place was heaving. Had the best coffee. The young barista was so dedicated to her task. I was very impressed.
Oh Mosman Park you continue to provide bountiful places to eat and enjoy the character our suburb oozes!!!!!
