Gilles de Bretagne

We decided to have lunch here without booking and it was a good choice of restaurant. We chose from the three course set menu at 16 euros per person. We all chose fish soup from the starters options which was excellent. For the main course...I chose Escalope a la Crème, which was a generous chicken portion with a nice sauce, and chips and other vegetables. I had caramel ice cream for dessert. The quality of the food and the service was very good and would visit this restaurant again.

We revisited this restaurant and were again pleased with the friendly welcome and good food.The fish soup arrived in a vast tureen with all the accompanying cheese ,croutons and aoli,for one.The prawn starter was also of a generous size with sweet prawns.Wine and bread were good.The lamb skewers were tasty and the creme brullee and traditional far bretonne delicious.Good place for a traditional lunch featuring Brittany goodies.

Today was the third time we have eaten at this restaurant.I cannot praise it highly enough.My husband had the fishermans plateau as a starter and he scored it 10 out of 10. I had fois gras ab fab.Followed by entrecote steaks that melted in your mouth and thats not an exageration. Cheese and lovely deserts followed. Can't fault it at all.Will be back!

Very good restaurant! The food tastes good and you won't leave the restaurant hungry! The prices are more than acceptable! But it's very busy, so it's not

we ate dinner here. The food was delicious. The service was very helpful. The fish soup was marvelous, also very much appreciated by our four year old.
