My husband and I ordered 4/8/22 today. We had not ordered since the lock-off and were pleasantly surprised about the quality and quantity of foods provided. Both our meals, came with a salad, and a fresh role and we shared an order of 12 mild chicken wings. I ordered Penne Alfredo with shrimp and lobster. It was properly packed in an airtight container and then packed in a plastic bag to eliminate spills, it should move into the car (which once happened to me by Pancake Factory and it turned everything over my car! The wings were perfectly boiled and not overly covered with sauce. They tasted crispy, as if the air did not ride with any of the floury skin, many restaurants cover their wings....
Gilligans is a 5+ without a doubt! Not only do they offer the freshest fish/shell fish you could ever hope for, but they offer a variety of other dishes as they also have a brick oven. I've been a regular customer for more than 10 years, and not only are their dishes fantastic, the fish you can pick right out of their showcase (same with the lobster, clams, oysters, etc), are fantastic. I am quite picky with my fish, and in all these many years, I can't say I've ever had a anything less than wonderful
Love this place!!! The food is so good here. As you can see, we've tried something of everything. One of the best meals I've ever had and has been back since. One of the most expensive meals, but I have to say that. The staff was great, drinks were delicious, food delicious, and although the bill was high (not normally spend 200 for 2 people for dinner, but we celebrated). It was worth it. I was full of remnants and didn't feel like robbed. Will be back. Thank you.
Fun place and great service! The drinks are strong and delicious. Recommend: The snapper was perfectly cooked. The shrimp was great in appetizer and entrees. The steak was excellent. The fried calamari appetizer is definitely a repeat. Would not get again: the salmon was somewhat dry as you would expect a frozen salmon to taste. The scallops were overcooked.
Overall a great experience. Food is delicious, especially the Cajun Bucket. Best to visit with an appetite as it was a good amount of food great for taking home leftovers. Not sure about all the reviews about staff attitudes, everyone seemed very nice and our waitress did a great job and had us laughing. I would recommend this restaurant to others.
Big restaurant had the shareable platter, calamari, shrimp,stuffed mushrooms, with crab meat and clams oreganato. The only negative was the shrimp were a little tough. Also had Blacken tuna. Was very good. Definitely taking the family for dinner. Only question. Where are the tentacles? Fried calamari, no tenticles,supa de pesci,no tentacles?
Anyone who knows me can tell you I enjoy some great seafood and Gilligans is no exception. Your lobster filled with Crab meat is amazing! Her mussels, shrimps, mussels and sausages are so well cooked in a garlic wine flavor. I had to taste the lobster before I made the picture. This is my favorite seafood place so far!
