Gills Diner - Réservation de table

I 've eaten here many times and had my share of bad experiences, but today 's visit is what made me feel the need to post a review. Look at the receipt. It doesn 't add up right. After paying the bill at my table, I looked at the bill and noticed I was overcharged by $2.50 prior to taxes being added on. I brought this to the new owner 's attention and she said its for the gravy I asked to have put on top of my American fries. #1-the waitress should have said there would be an extra charge and how much it would be so I could make an informed decision if I wanted to pay $2.50 for a little bit of gravy on my potatoes. #2-$2.50 for a bit of gravy? We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It had a total diner/dive atmosphere, but the food and service were excellent. Anitra was very attentive, and two other servers also checked on us during our meal. I think the person who greeted us at the door was the owner, who also asked about our experience as we were leaving. The TBC (The Big Cheeseburger) was perfect, and the fries were so crispy that I couldn't resist nibbling off my husband's plate too. We will definitely be returning soon!

I ordered the country omelet it has biscuits and grave In the middle... OMG IT WAS GOOD. The service was great. Our waitress must of came back to our table 5 or 6 time making sure everything was OK. The new owner even stopped to check on us. I seen him do this to several tables. YES I WILL BE GPOING BACK

Order my meal they gave me the option of American or hash brown and I chose American the waitress wrote it down on her slip and I received hash brown which were partially overcooked. It made my meal less enjoyable and my first experience and impression was not impressive. Réservez une table maintenant

When I first relocated to Illinois, my fiancée and her family brought me to this restaurant for a meal. I have visited a few times since then and I can say that the service has always been excellent. The hostess and waitstaff are very attentive and polite.

Food was good but service was horrible! There were hidden charges on the bill. When asked about the charges, I was told that is just the way it is. Won’t go back! Too many other places in town to spend money at and have a good experience!

Good place to eat food Prices are good, the staff is pretty cool. But you have to be really careful that what you order. The guyro is not off the spit it is pre-made.

The food at this restaurant has consistently been good, but the service was awful. The waitress spoke to us as if we were children and wasn't attentive enough. Réservez une table maintenant

I have always loved the food here, my family has worked here before, and they always celebrate holidays. I recommend the American fries with cheese.

Honestly I loved it here food was awesome prices were great and the waitresses made the experience that much better will be returning!
