The Best Western is my nickname for the Gingerbread House because they have the best western sandwiches from the Maritimes through New England to Leamington. The other breakfast items are good as well but is my Breakfast choice and they know it. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. The service is always good and friendly. The breakfasts are always tasty and for me it is the Western Sandwich which is my favorite. It is thick and delicious, and will last me til dinner time. We broke tradition this morning for two reasons. First because of covid there is no indoor dining. After a couple of early mornings at the park we wanted a relaxed breakfast before driving home on a Friday morning. We arrived shortly after 8 am and there were already 5 or 6 tables occupied. Halfway through our meal the place was almost full. For me two things make a good breakfast place. They must have good home fries, not deep fried potato cubes, and you should not have to ask for coffee refills. The Gingerbread House passes on both counts. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the potatoes were real home fries and although the restaurant was almost full the waitress came by a couple of times to top up our coffees. Well cooked eggs, hot toast and good coffee. We'll definitely be back next yea...
Dropped in after arriving in Leamington and got a very nice lunch. Great corned beef sandwich, actually one of the best corned beef I've had, my wife had her usual grilled cheese. Good service and portions and a slightly wet slaw, but very tasty. Going back for breakfast!
We were looking for a nice place for breakfast and the Ginger Bread House looked good. It was a great choice. The food was wonderful and the service was fast. All staff were very friendly. All in all a good experience. We recommend it very much. The Taylors of Huntsville
