No good. Massive pretentious hipster haunt with 'departure lounge ' quality food. This seemed oddly appropriate given that the cost is about the same Adelaide Airport. The food was overpriced relative to the quality. Pretty bland and cold. I am happy to sit down for a bit of stodge but for what we got it needs to be about five bucks cheaper per dish. The coffee was no good which was made doubly irritating given the borderline hostile demeanour of the beanie clad barista. He does not have the skill to backup that tortured artist persona. I have been to Ginger's 4 times but doubt if I will go again when there are better choices. The food is overpriced and pretty much the same as a lot of other places. The coffee is ordinary and the service is indifferent and can be very slow. The only real redeeming thing is that there is plenty of seating. Parking can be difficult. I personally would go to Alter Ego just a short walk away in Gilbert Street near the Capri where I always get great food and amazing service. Summary: Service terrible, food average, price expensive for what you get, coffee not great. Worth a try? Maybe but there are better places in the area.
FOOD: I got the big breakfast. No complaints here. Not the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, but they made up for it by the large portion size. Decent coffee and juices. VALUE: Comparable to other nearby establishments. ATMOSPHERE: This place is the definition of hipster. Fixie mounted on the wall, tattooed staff with funny haircuts and army boots Not that there's anything wrong with that. They were all very friendly. Its a lot bigger than I thought, with plenty of seating inside and out. Its not cramped like some other smaller cafes are. OVERALL: Mad decent.
Gingers is hands down one of my favourite food spots in Adelaide how could you not love all day breakfast??? The decor and the ever changing art is funky, location fantastic. My go to brunch order is their eggs florentine. Their tomato bruschetta is the best bruschetta I've ever had, unique,fresh, and generous, so tempting to lick the plate after I'm done! The coffee is also amazing. The only tiny negative I have of this place is that sometimes staff members can be a bit indifferent a smile and asking how a customer's day has been can go a long way : Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is incredibly charming and unique, located in a trendy area of Adelaide. The menu is intriguing, featuring thoughtfully selected ingredients. While the atmosphere could be more vibrant, the staff were wonderful—friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The presentation of the dishes was absolutely stunning. The zucchini and corn fritters were outstanding, and the fried chicken burger received high praise from everyone at the table. Overall, it’s a fantastic establishment with excellent food.

I enjoy coming here in the morning to have coffee and a meal with friends or family. There's a reason it's always bustling with customers! The coffee is always top-notch. Definitely check it out!
I went there for brunch a few times. The coffee is good, smooth but it luck of coffee aroma to me. I enjoyed the food, I have tried salad, full breakfast, burgers and sweet potato chips. The sweet potato chips was the best. I recommend to try their sweet potato chips. But they mistake our orders EVERY TIME we go even they repeat the order.
We discovered this restaurant after arriving too early for an exhibition at the fairground and needing to kill some time. We decided to have breakfast, and we absolutely loved it. The food was tasty, the coffee was fantastic, and the fresh juice was delicious. The service was quick and friendly as well. I highly recommend this place! Réservez une table maintenant
My first impression of Gingers was great- I walked in and saw a massive painting of Penny Wong- I knew this place was going to be my local. Love the coffee and the food and can never fault the service. I've been here a lot, and only just got into writing reviews. Love love love!!
