I have been a loyal customer of this pizza restaurant for the past 5 years, ordering pizza here a few times a month. Recently, I have noticed new staff and management, leading me to believe there has been a change in ownership. While the quality of the pizza remains good, I have experienced inconsistencies in pricing. I used to pay around $12 for an Xtra Large 3 Item pizza, but a few weeks ago I was quoted $40 for 2 of these pizzas. Since then, I have paid just over $15 for the same order. During my most recent visit, I was charged $15 plus tax for a "Large" pizza, despite a sign in the window advertising a Large 3 item pizza and 1 dipping sauce for $14.49. I ordered 2 party pizzas online for a group of kids. When I arrived at Gino's, they claimed they didn't receive my order, despite having a confirmation email. There was no empathy shown, only a suggestion that I would have to wait 40 minutes if I still wanted the pizzas. I ended up going down the road to Pizza Nova, where they were able to accommodate my order and have it ready in just 15 minutes. I would recommend going to any other pizza place besides Gino's.
I have been ordering from Ginos for a while now, but this was the first time I was disappointed. It seemed like they changed the sauce or forgot to put it on altogether. There was also way too much cheese, which I know some people like, but I did not ask for extra. I couldn't even finish my slice.
