My wife always talks about the pepperoni pounder, insert your own joke if you will that?s fine. But I thought how good can a pizza be, how good can a pepperoni pizza be? Well come to find out Giovanni?s has moved into the Louisville area. And it is well worth the 20 minutes it takes to get out to Shelbyville. This pizza is absolutely incredible, who cares if I had to wait a little longer. That?s fine! The staff was amazing, the restaurant was clean and the food tasted beyondunbelievable. I cannot wait to come back into town and visit our kiddos at college, just so we can make our way out to Giovanni?s and get some more of what we call the pepperoni pounder. Absolutely love it.
Pizza was good!! Service is a little clunky, had multiple people seating guest and they weren?t busy?.made it complicated. Parking lot was empty and if there is an open sign I couldn?t see it so if I were you guys I?d park the employee cars in the parking lot first thing or definitely invest in a sign or banner that we can all see!! Asked a few people I know and everyone is assuming it?s closed. Beer would also help!! Meanwhile they do serve pizza before 12:30!! Unlike theother pizza place on the far side of town that also has pizza in the name!! I like local business, I am local business!!
They have definitely stepped their game up from when they first opened. It was kind of a mess due to an over abundance of customers and they just couldn?t keep up. It led to very long wait times. They?ve managed to get those under controls as people have settled down about it. The food is fantastic. They always have a bunch of sales as well. Staff is always friendly too. Excellent place to eat at or take out.
I couldn't say anything bad about this restaurant. I don't understand the bad reviews, and I really think it's a little urbanity stuff. This is one of the few free standing pizza hats. The staff and management is super nice and friendly. The food is exactly what you would expect from every pizza hat in the country.
