I cannot confirm the partially extremely negative assessments. we have been going to giu for several years and are always very satisfied. the staff is very friendly and the eating super tasty. the size of the portions are more than satisfactory. the price-performance ratio fits. the ambiente is super pleasant there and above all it is very clean in the restaurant. even if the restaurant is very often full, due to presentations in the ebertbad, we get our food without a long wait period. in summer you can eat there on the beautiful terrace. I can recommend the giu very much.
The place is truly very beautifully decorated. No cheap decoration, but it was a lot of very good looking matched to each other.I was not so impressed by a place for a long time.I usually did not want to share the dessert with my brother. We have all learned from this and will order the next time per person a dessert.Super great and courteous service. I think the whole staff did a harmonious job there.
Beautiful Italian restaurant opposite the Stadttheater in Oberhausen. The pizzas and pasta dishes are very delicious. The portions could be a little bigger for my taste. The restaurant has sweet little Sepiarees, where you can eat with up to 4 people completely undisturbed. The ambience is typical Italian. The services are friendly and the food comes quickly.

we have booked for a group of about 10 people. adequate welcome. all dishes were served together appropriately. the dishes have a good size for normal eater. the costs for food and drinks are appropriate. would have expected a limoncello at the cost of the house for such a group and a complete two-course menu on a quiet Monday.
Almost we wouldn't have gone there because of the bad reviews. However, our experiences were delightful. We were there before the performance at Ebertbad and were friendly and attentive, although it was very full. The food came quickly and was very tasty There was neither a service nor a court. We like to come back.
The salad we had eaten was tasteful, but the dressing was infallible. The service, however, was mainly charged to the waiter several times in his favor during the billing so that he had about 5 € tip if we had not noticed. That was a pity and not necessary, because the restaurant was well visited.
