We visited GJ's Bay Café & Grill twice recently for coffee and slice and on the second visit, coffee with pancake. We sat outside at the tables provided with the river view. With this establishment, you choose your table before ordering and give your table number to the staff when ordering. On our first visit, the slice and coffee were very good and served promptly. On our second visit, we ordered coffee with pancake, and our pancake ordered was forgotten, so it was a little while for that, but when it did arrive, we were quite happy with it. Well I'm not impressed 4 people , 1st drink came Out then the rest took 15-30mins ,food also took40 mins and had to ask for last drink.Asked for eggs runny , they wetenir , sent it back and they returned th saying they can't make th runnier than that ... no new eggs cooked just first lot returned looking mangledBacon not cooked, smoothies made with flavoured syrup not fruit , tasteless 2 people ordered same meal but Meal were different portion sizes Pancakes tasted s big doughy Even though they were alerted about eggs they did not attempt to rectify , so no point by telling them the rest of meal issues ,$ 60 for 2 people what a wasteWon't be back
We ordeted a gourmet pancakes and a kids pancakes. Absolutely amazing. The kids pancakes came out with a man made out of icecream and a cone and the pancakes covered in sauce and hundrefs and thousands. My four yr old almost bounced off the seat he was so excited when he saw it. Great friendly service recommend to anyone.
This was a first time visit and I found all about this place to be of high quality. Staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. The view was a wonderful addition to the experience. Try this place and you will not be disappointed.

Bad quality of ingredients, waited half an hour for the food(one plate) and 45 mins for 2 coffees because the order apparently had been lost. No one apologised for that. Cannot find any excuse with the place not even half full
We had a very enjoyable Ice Coffee and Vanilla Latte with relaxing water views over the Clyde river. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. We have visited here before and will definitely return.
We really enjoyed our lunch. Big pancakes can be mushy and doghy, these were not, they were excellent. Very good value for money
Always a lovely relaxed cafe with great food! Love the fact that they have gluten free options! Great service - every time!

My wife and I had a lovely breakfast at GJs. Nicely cooked, well presented and a very generous serve. Great coffee too.
Very friendly staff, great food and reasonably priced. You can sit inside or out depending on the weather.
