We have walked past this restaurant on so many occasions and it is always busy, that sort of put us off in terms of slow service etc, that was our mistake. We had lunch there today, Plat du Jour. My wife had a beautifully presented tomato and mozzarella salad with aubergine, artichoke, melon et al. I had lamb with mashed potato and a leek mousseline. Both were delicious (we always taste each other's meal! . All of this washed down with an excellent house rosé. Both our deserts were tasty too. The main point to raise is how friendly all the staff were and with its location a really enjoyable lunch/ experience. Must add we were given a free glass of limoncello each even though we declined coffee.
I've been visiting here for some years now as theres nowhere else that compares for value. That said, every meal is superb and I'd definitely recommend watching the specials. One of the few places nearby with WiFi and the menu is great for either snacks or full meal. Great food, friendly service and lovely location
Bonne cuisine, avec une équipe super sympathique ! Une fois, nous avons mangé une blanquette de veau... et nous nous sommes dit que cela faisait penser à un déjeuner du dimanche chez grand-mère. Une cuisine simple et efficace. C'est devenu un endroit où nous aimons aller !
