A wonderful place for coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch....in fact anytime, whether you want a full on meal or just a snack! Sit in the sunny courtyard with a park view or inside on the couch by the fire when the weather's too chilly! Their burgers.. pulled pork is my fave with chips of course was really satisfying on a rainy autumn day, perfectly finished off with florentines and a coffee...yes florentines please because one was not enough. They do all manner of sandwiches as well as the more gourmet versions and their baguettes are a good option when I want to grab and run! Savoury pastries like spinach pide, pies and a variety of muffins are always freshly made and the menu is regularly up...
I had brunch here on my own the other day, the setting is a food store with a space at the side with tables. The decor is very basic in the side area and there were birds and wasps which were quite annoying. However the...food was actually very good and slightly more interesting than your regular avocado smash variety. I had the mushroom toast which was very flavoursome and pretty. The coffee was also pretty good. The staff are good but very relaxed. Worth dropping in if you’re in the area.
I have no complaints about my food. It did take a while to come, but was worth the wait. The quality matched the price, too. My issue is with the service. While each of the staff was anxious to please, sometimes things got left behind...with multiple people coming to the same table. Some people on another table I saw forgotten completely, while I had to negotiate with each person for: a table, then a menu, then water, then to have the order taken.
Lunch with high school friends, booked table for always a challenge to be able to talk eat be heard. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Meals served in a timely fashion my calamari was perfectly cooked. Salad delicious. The wine we...ordered was not available but host was willing to please with a taster. Host even turned the heating up when we said we were cold. Light meals, just right for breakfast or lunch, inside or out.

I came here with my friend and I noticed that all the food looked great and then my friend and I asked the waiter the price of hot chips and they turned out to be so we ended up getting a measly Tim...tams for a drastic price of This is completely unacceptable and this business should be passed on to different owners because these ones don’t know how to set a price.
We booked for six well ahead of time, so had a small room toward the back and out of the way. Cosy place to meet and opposite Ferndale Park good coffee, drink in or take away. We all enjoyed different meals that were served...quickly by friendly staff. We had a leisurely session and were under no pressure to move on. Would definitely revisit if in the area again.
We went here for lunch with our daughter and son-in-law to spend some time with our new grandson. My wife had beetroot fritters, the others had truffle mushroom and pancake special. They all enjoyed their food. I chose the fried chicken burger which was dry...and almost inedible. I would not go back there.
Was considered a go-to for locals, but slipping in service, wait-time and quality of late. If you're early before the punters it can be worthwhile.

Service was good, muffins look appealing but are tasteless. Especially the apple cinnamon muffins. Coffee was standard.
Really enjoyed a delicious meal with friends. Food fresh and tasty. We reserved a table and were looked after well.
