Glen Prairie is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is anyways delicious! I enjoy their changing weekly specials. Great wine list, great dessert options. What is NOT great are the extra charges for gluten free. We were charged an additional $8 last night. $4 for 1 hamburger bun for my husbands burger and $4 for a 3 inch cookie on my husband's dessert! Absurd in my opinion. My husband will NEVER dine there again. We could have purchased an entire bag of hamburger buns for that price. Our dinner was $87 with zero alcohol and no appetizer. Two meals no added items and two desserts and a black coffee! Too bad, Glen Prairie, too bad!!
Was a perfect meal and great service from Jess. The Sea Bass was perfectly cooked and seasoned amazingly! The asparagus, snap peas and fingerling potatoes were perfect with the dish. My husband had the Skirt Steak with Chimichurri, roasted vegetables and fingerling potatoes, he has had this dish before and said it has always been good, but for some reason this evening it was the best he has ever had it. Service was excellent and attenuative. Always a wonderful meal!
Most in our group had a wonderful meal...chicken sandwiches, and tuna poke bowl. Also flatbread appetizer and brownie dessert were wonderful. However my quinoa burger was not very good. First of all it fell apart when, after cutting in half, I tried to pick it up. And just not much flavor. Was disappointed in that. Other issue was that most everyone had a taste for pasta, and mac and cheese was the only pasta option.
Exceptional hospitality and fantastic food, particularly for those with celiac disease. There are plenty of delicious options available! I tried the gluten-free signature cheeseburger, fries, firecracker shrimp, and mac and cheese – everything was delicious! Kudos to the chef for putting so much care into the dishes; it truly shows! I can 't say enough about the quality of the food and the ability of the kitchen to provide gluten free dishes that actually taste wonderful. This restaurant cooks with non-GMO soybean oil and they claim to use 'mostly ' organic produce from local farmers. They have been around for quite some time. But, I just discovered them and will undoubtedly become a regular customer
Loud large group and as the restaurant filled it was Very loud. Cobb salad had lots of stuff but barely any lettuce. Ive never seen such a small amount of lettuce. Was told the house salad was very small so order additional items It was the same size as the cobb but nice spring green lettuce. Heavy red onion. Wine seemed like a small pour for $13.
A group of 4 went there for pre-play dinner and arrived on time. We were seated promptly and the wait staff arrived at the same time. Never felt rushed, but there a very large party of 12 who were really pretty loud. Food was very good, trout was done perfectly. Wait staff made sure we would get to our play on time!!!
Glen Prairie consistently impresses. They have a strong emphasis on their gluten-free menu, and after my recent celiac diagnosis, I truly appreciate how effortlessly they accommodate my needs. The food is delicious, and the staff is dedicated to providing excellent service. It’s always a delightful experience.

Not sure if people really know about this place, but it was amazing. It’s directly attached to the hotel. But had a flat bread appetizer and the chicken avocado sandwich which both were phenomenal. Very nice staff highly recommend
