"Had such a wonderful experience at Cafe Pantai. We sat at a table over looking the ocean and had excellent service. The staff were pleasant and easy to chat to. The meal was absolutely delicious. PS best Laksa I've had in Adelaide."

We were a family of parents, grand parents, children and grandchildren celebrating 2 birthdays for dinner expecting a nice night. I read the reviews and some had high praise on food quality, some the opposite, but we decided to ignore the negative and go for the positive and that was a big mistake. The night did not turn out to be a nice night. All of the dishes were overcooked. A group of us ordered the banquet also overcooked, over deep fried, dry and tasteless with accompanying dips out of a jar. After extremely enjoying a meal at Cafe Blue, we decided to try the Pantai section of the Glenelg Pier Hotel. The Nasi Goreng was delicious, and again service was very nice. The Glenelg Pier Hotel has definitely turned things around in the past few months, and i definitely recommend everyone giving it another crack because i love it there. Will be returning for sure!
Terrible service. Waited at least 20 minutes to get our table then an hour to get our food. When we were finally greeted we were rushed off to a table without guidance. Meals were average, definitely not worth the wait. Thought it would be a nice night out for a meal however was out till 9pm waiting for our dinner. Wouldn't return. Réservez une table maintenant
Went to Paintai & The Rocks (same place) for dinner with friends on Friday night. Everything we ordered was beautiful and cooked to perfection. The customer service was fabulous and Sree very entertaining, we lapped it up! Go here if you have not been already. Beautiful spot, not too expensive either. We will be back thank you.
Arrived late at our hotel, Oaks Plaza Glenelg, and Pantai Restaurant is in the hotel. Weeknight special was excellent value, there was a great variety, good sized servings and delicious. Friendly competent staff, and although we arrived relatively late, we were not hurried.
Pantai is in a nice setting with great views. The food is ok, not great, not bad, I have no complaints just something was missing. Fair price and good size servings. Been there 4 times over 4 years. Try the Nasi Goreng , thats one of the best I have anywhere in SA. See pic
Beautiful taste and great location in Glenelg. Reasonable price. We ordered 2 mains and an entree for sharing. Delicious prawns with generous coconut sauce and spicy! Tasty green curry chicken. The thai fish cakes is good but not extraordinary. Happy tummy :) Réservez une table maintenant
