First off, we come here for the great food. Let's get that clear. However, you can tell it is family owned and no one fears for their jobs. The service, and more importantly, the attitude of the servers is atrocious. Gloria's you have a great thing going, but those rude,entitled servers are going to kill your business. Sun Prairie has several options for Mexican food, including a pretty good,brand new one right down the street. It is a shame the lack of care from your staff. When I first arrived I was quickly sat at a small table in front of the bar. The bartender and the lady who sat me proceeded to make jokes about me being by myself and how I’m just a one top. Bartender took my drink order, a second person took my food order. The girl who took my food order didn’t seem very attentive. I ordered everything a La crate but it all came on one plate.The beans and rice portion was very small for the price. Absolutely disappointed! I walked in today 9/25 at 4pm to get two gorditas and a order of ceviched I walked in and all the works sat at the bar and just looked at me, nobody greeted me or anything I then told them I was there to pick up an order only then did someone get up from the bar to help me. I then gave the lady 30$ and my order was 27$ she did not give me my change back.. I had to come back in for my tostadas that came with my ceviche and I was only given two. When I came back in for my tostadas the lady who gave me the rest of what was missing from my order has an attitude. Restaurant has a lot of potential but the works are lazy and rude!

Growing up in the southwest has spoiled me when it comes to the authentic Mexican eatery. Gloria's reminded me of my youth in the south. Excellent food, excellent service. Fast and delicious and the price was right and reflected the good quality. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend stopping in.

Gloria’s is top notch! The service, food/drink quality and bartenders can’t be beat! Erika makes the best Pineapple Jalapeño margarita.
