Need a break from wurst or schnitzel? Try this place. We stopped by for a late lunch and while not shown a menu, we ordered each a grillhendl (rotisserie chicken) and fries. Drink was tap water (tafelwasser) which cost euros each. Total for...lunch was euro. No one does rotisserie chicken as the German's do and this place does grilling justice. Nice crispy skin, moist meat. Right on the plaza. A little bit confusing as the signage outside doesn't match inside. There's a takeout area where you see the chickens grilling but to sit down you go into the restaurant and find a table. They also have a buffet though we didn't try it.

I was saying in single room. This place combines cheap hotel EUR per day with breakfast) with great food, beer and mood. If you just need place to sleep rent here a room. If you want spend good time go to restaurant....Best local place!

It offers various ways to cook chicken as own specialty, but I'd suggest try the vegetarian spätzlepfanne, a good surprise. Staff hardly understand English but they try their best. Prices are good for the given quality

Watch for overnight stays in this house! The cheap price has its reason: In the garage under a building part a generator runs all night, whose drones make it impossible to sleep.

Good beer and sausages. Staff was good. Place was clean. Just around the corner from the plaza. Strudel was good.
