The Golden bowl has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for ~30 years. The food is excellent. I often ask for crispy Chicken with Black Bean sauce, which isn't always on the menu but they make it with no problem. The biggest problem is the decor, which also hasn't changed in 30 ~years. The 2 new TVs don't add to the ambiance, either. Overall, the food is better eat-in than take out, despite the decor. The food tastes better (takeout will ruin the crispy crust of many of the fried dishes), and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
