Listen, I like the Golden Croissant. I visit this place once every three or four years. I can?t explain why that is exactly. Today, I picked up the lunch special. Small sammie (I chose chicken, almond), with a small SOD (I chose corn and chicken) and a bag of Ruffles. I craved dessert and ordered an eclair and a cream puff. Nope. Just, no to the pastries for sure. The texture of the pastries was definitely indicative of a frozen product. It was like sand with sweetness. Not flaky. Not fresh. Pre frozen. Bad. The sammie was good. The soup, canned chicken (barely there bits and pieces of it) and little bits of corn in a thickened by corn starch broth close to a gel like texture. So now I remem...
We ordered to eat lunch some times before we go in and sit down today. Her food is always good, especially her desserts. All their sandwiches are croissant-based. The dining area is slightly aged, but well maintained. They have a wall that is a chalkboard so that children can write on it. Staff are always nice and super helpful. You make waiters too. Edit: I'm behind my previous comments.
What's going on with golden croissant? I've been here for decades. The last couple of times we came, the food is not as good as it usually is. The Croissant seemed a little stale. It is still a good choice if you are sick at Hamburgers, but they need a little quality control.
Absolutely delicious broccoli soup! The best I ever had. Chicken salad with almond was excellent. They cut back the amount they put on the sandwich. The pastries were good, only need more fruit in the croissants. Flavor was excellent. Overall, great!

6/5 stars staff is really friendly, clean area 24/7 and the food... even if it gave me diarrhea I wouldn’t even be mad it’s absolutely delicious! Edit/Update : did not give me diarrhea so 7/5 stars from me 12/10 would recommend.
Really good place for breakfast and lunch! Your food and desserts are always so fresh. You have the best croissants in the area and it is not even nearby. Pro Tip, don't forget to get the Vietnamese coffee!
I've been coming to golden croissant for years! Perfect place to have a nice fresh small breakfast sandwich with a dessert croissant to top you off. My kids love it too!
Visiting from out of town and decided to try this place before heading to the beach, not disappointed, everything we ordered was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

They have these strawberry and cream cheese croissants that are amazing. Stop in if you want to get some nicely portioned bacon egg and cheese too.
Nothing here has yet to disappoint me. This is such a cute and underrated lunch spot in mid county. The croissant sandwiches are so good!
