I have always loved this restaurant for their fish and chips, especially the pensioner portions. However, during my last visit, we had to wait for an unusually long time and it seemed like they had forgotten about us, as people who came in after us were served before us. When we finally got our fish and chips and took it home, we realized there was more batter than fish, so we ended up throwing a lot of it away. This was disappointing because the food had always been excellent in the past and the staff are usually really pleasant.
Staying in a hotel near here with a friend and are quite limited to eating as don't know the area that well. Came here during our visit and oh WOW I've never had battered mushrooms before and my gosh they were to die for. Light crispy juicy mushrooms. I'm here again next week and will absolutely be coming in for some more of those.. One portion of chips between two is moreeeee than enough we were stuffed. But battered mushrooms you've won't my heart !!
Really nice place for fish and chips. Not being familiar with the area, I’m so glad to have come across this chippy! Portion sizes are generous and the staff are always friendly! Would recommend! This restaurant serves absolutely amazing fish and chips - they are definitely the best in the area! The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend trying their Place, Fish and Chips, Large Cod and Chips, and their Chips. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10 for dinner. Réservez une table maintenant
