Though I never became a sports fan, I still enjoyed most of what's inside Golden Gate Tap Room, especially the late 20th century hip songs from the New Wave that continues to float up and down on a big screen near the pool table. First off, I like using the Golden Gate staircase, a stairway that leads to fun and entertainment. It's better to burn your energy using stairs, unless you use the elevator to burn electricity. The atmosphere in the tap room was excellent! Though packed with adults 21+ yrs of age, it's quite loud enough you can almost barely hear yourself and your friends talking. Went here for lunch, surprised we were carded at the front door (we are definitely AARP age). Climbed up 3 flights of stairs (there is an elevator), bar had lots of TVs for sports, lots of tables. Bartender was very knowledgeable about beers, there was quite a selection of microbrews categorized by type, listing alcohol content as well. Bar menu had some interesting choices, my husband had the sliders and I had the tacos, both very good and a sufficient quantity. Would definitely come here again.
it was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. the personal was really nice and friendly. there was a line outside lasted one, but as soon as your inner and order that food comes fast. I ordered the hot Cheetos dog and the red dog for my man and we both liked him. it was really delicious. we also got the garlicries and these were the best garlics I had and I had a lot of lol. but overall this place is a must to come and try it out.
Fun, college-y feeling sports bar. Pool and some other games spread around the area. Projectors and tvs playing ball games. Beers from $5-$8 draft. Taco tuesday had $2 tacos, that while small, hit the spot. Good selection of CA drafts and some other non-local and imported brews. Also lucked out with some free tequila shots and a t shirt!

Minor selection if IPas. Awesome atmosphere if you get there early enough. Watched the NBA playoff finals. The food came out really quick. Great service. The nachos not the best. Wings were as normal as it comes. It was bar food. Not brewery food. Definitely a fun place.
Fun atmosphere. Short walk up the stairs. Lots of selections. TV can be seen from basically anywhere. Plenty of volume for the selected channel. Lots of seating for large and small party groups. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Did not try the food.
I was in beautiful San Francisco for the Metallica shows celebrating their 40 years in music and was delighted to come across this fantastic sports bar! They had a wide selection of beers and plenty of TVs with the volume turned up for the games.
This restaurant has a wide variety of beers to choose from, as well as shuffleboard, basketball, foosball, and pool. It's a lot of fun!

This restaurant was very enjoyable. It felt like an adult arcade but with a more laid-back atmosphere than Dave & Buster's.
