we had a nice stay here yesterday for a high time at another place. the personal was very pleasant. we had a four poster bedroom and spa bath was happy! the room was quiet. perfect. the breakfast was excellent. in any case they recommend a stay here. want to visit them again to taste the meal of the evening, the steak cooked on volcanicles sounds amazing. Thanks again.

Have to say the Golden Lion was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in the Rugby area. It's a family run hotel which I believe has been in the family for the last 85 years.....great location, fantastic staff and food and very comfy and welcoming.

Me and my wife spent our wedding weekend there. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely the food was fantastic and we've already decided we will be going back next year for our anniversary

Lovely Sunday lunch today. The carvery meal was excellent and the service was very good and our waitress was efficient and friendly. It was busy but there were no delays. Recommended.

Amazing stay, management was very professional, the room and bathroom are very clean, comfortable and cosy. Great food and atmosphere
