Decided to give this place multiple tries due to it being so close to me, but I have to say I was disappointed.. ordered takeout on a Friday night and boy was it unappetizing.. it's a old run down location black stains follow your steps in and into the kitchen, I can see why it's to go only. We got pork fried rice, Mongolian beef and chicken chow fun. The rice was dry and had no veggies, the beef was tough and there was more onions than anything I'd see and the noodle for the chow fun were dry as well? It all tasted old.. This is the third time we've tried.. we should've got the memo when there was a hair in it last time.. don't recommend!
Since the pandemic, the Golden Palace has stopped offering what I would consider good food. We had our last meal there today, and it was disappointing. The pan-fried chow mein was nearly impossible to eat, and the chicken had an unexpectedly strong barbecued flavor. The pot stickers lacked any taste, and the spring rolls felt more like winter rolls, with cabbage that was tough and stringy, as if it had been harvested last year. It's unfortunate because the Palace used to be one of our favorite places. Regrettably, we won’t be going back.
The Chinese food here is exceptional—truly fantastic! The service was commendable as well, but I should mention that it was takeout only when I visited on a Sunday at 7:30 pm. I'm not sure if that's a usual policy. Nevertheless, the food was incredible; I didn't take any pictures, which I regret. Everything was delicious, especially the crab rangoons—they were outstanding!
We have been visiting Golden Palace for years, usually about once a month or every couple of months. Recently, our favorites have been the wonton soup with extra wontons, crab and cheese rangoons, and sometimes the honey walnut shrimp. The food is always excellent and ready for pickup in no time.

Always excellent! The veggie fried rice and pork fried rice are both delicious. The honey walnut chicken is outstanding, and we love ordering the plain chow mein (without veggies or meat)—it's so tasty! Everything we've tried has been great. This has been our go-to spot for the past ten years!
Arrived faster than I expected and it was still nice and hot. Lots of food, and the veggies in the D5. Beef With Fresh Vegetable (Special Combination) were perfect. Good variety of veg and everything was crisp tender. The meat was tender and plentiful.
The Chicken Chow Mein was the best I've had compared to other Chinese restaurants. The Honey Walnut Chicken was sweet and crispy! The House Special Fried Rice had the most amazing aroma and was truly the best.
The food is excellent—served piping hot and freshly made. The flavors are outstanding! My absolute favorite is the L23, Honey Walnut Shrimp.
