Our family of 5 with three teenage boys was SO hungry after a long day and we left and had to find dinner after spending money here. Everything was pretty gross. Even the beer! We ordered the poutine, chicken wings, smoked reuben like sandwich, lasagna, salad, quesadilla and soup. The 15 year old that ate the pureed shrimp and potato soup liked his food. The quesadilla “could’ve been worse”. The lasagna was inedible. The side garlic bread was okay. The side salad was fresh and looked good but after putting the house italian on it, was inedible. So the person who didn’t pour the dressing on could eat theirs. The chicken wings were mostly skin and the sauce was boring. The smoked meat sandwich was greasy, soggy and the cheese had no flavor. The sauerkraut was non existent. When asked what was the best part, everyone agreed it was the server. She was kind and nice. The water was okay too except my son’s water, which had “stuff” in the bottom. We brought this to our waitresses attention and were told “oh, it is spices”. How is that okay. I really wish we had left then as it was a warning about the long wait and below par food. Also, despite and interesting decorating sense, it was dirty and it took 30 minutes to get our food. And it wasn’t even busy. We actually saw people enter the restaurant after us and get served the same stuff we ordered, eat it and leave before we got our food. Finally, we were forced to sit on the “kids” side, but the side we were forced to sit on had two huge groups of people drinking loudly. I don’t get why we were forced there if they were going to have loud drinking clients there. How is that safeguarding anyone?
