The restaurant in Jever is right next to the Schlachte. This is where ships used to be unloaded and their cargo stowed. Unfortunately, the harbor eventually silted up and the sailors, stevedores and traders lost their food. But they were able to console themselves in the Kostverloren in the Golden Ancker.
Die Gaststätte in Jever liegt gleich neben der Schlachte. Dort wurden früher die Schiffe entladen und die Ladung verstaut. Leider ist der Hafen irgendwann versandet und die Seeleute, Stauer und Händler verloren ihre „Kost“. Dafür konnten sie sich im Goldenen Ancker im Kostverloren trösten.
Sehr angenehm dort zu sitzen. Das ist die älteste Kneipe in Jever. ca 1536 eröffnet.
