Goldener Löwe - Réserver une table

“Gasthof Goldener Löwe” turned out to be a gem one would not expect in such a small town. Its dining room is harmoniously decorated in a rustic style. Even the bar area it contains is smoke-free, which is exceptional in Austria. Service was friendly, attentive, but not obtrusive.The menu was dominated by meat dishes among which game played an important part. Without being excessively comprehensive, it nonetheless offered a sufficiently wide choice. It consisted not mainly of the ubiquitous variants of Schnitzel, but comprised for the most part creatively devised dishes. Furthermore, there was a separate list of dishes of the week. Prices were absolutely fair, some dishes (such as steaks) were even bargains.We enjoyed the calm atmosphere of that place and did not have to wait long for our meals. Portions were decently sized. Most importantly, the food was really delicious. For instance, it was astonishing how well such a simple dish as pasta with porcini filling tasted in this restaurant.

Auf der Durchreise gefunden: Gute, bodenständige Küche der Region (bei uns hauptsächlich Wild) sowie einige Klassiker. Freundliches Service. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis! Leider nur eine warme, vegetarische Speise auf der Karte (Pilze), Ambiente von der Inneneinrichtung noch Potential nach oben.

In diesem Gasthof kann man gut und preiswert speisen. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet. Der Gasthof eignet sich auch für gesellschaftliche Ereignisse, insbesondere ist im Sommer der "Biergarten" recht angenehm.
