Golf d'Hardelot

So the family men for the golf in memory of late parents and grand parents descended for a pre round lunch on La Foret, with drinks in hand we ordered omelettes & steaks. The Omelette was superb just the right degree of runtiness and the French fries crispy and well seasoned. Service was attentive and friendly. After a nice lunch we had a great round of golf. Worth taking the time to refuel prior to golfing..

Nous avons joué deux parties de golf aux Dunes début octobre. Le temps était superbe et le parcours était en excellent état. Nous avions un personnel très sympathique au Pro-Shop et au bar qui leur a recommandé une délicieuse bouteille de vin. que nous avions sur le balcon donnant sur le 18ème. Vert apprécié.

Le service était excellent. La nourriture après le golf était limitée, mais fraîche et répondait à nos besoins. Manger en plein air avec vue sur le 18ème trou avec un croque-monsieur et une baguette au jambon/fromage accompagnés d'un verre ou deux de vin de Bordeaux. Au soleil. Très agréable.

A very good test, the Pins is the easier of the two. The The Dunes starts tough and gets tougher, a buggy is a good idea, if they are available

Food and drink were fine, average golf club fare. Open all day, service fairly prompt and friendly enough. All adequate for what we needed.
