This review is for the Centreville location. It’s situated in the same shopping center as H Mart, but closer to the corner of the mall near Braddock Road. They offer an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu or hot pot experience. When you arrive, you receive a paper and a pencil to mark your selections for meats, vegetables, and other ingredients to add to your hot pot. I decided to visit Gom Shabu Shabu on a whim since it was only 15 minutes away, and I’m glad I did—it was delicious! Fortunately, I had recently been to a hot pot restaurant, so I knew to look for the island buffet in the middle that featured all the broth spices and dipping sauces for the meat. I didn’t miss out this time! The waitress took our order almost immediately, and everything we requested came out quickly. She even refilled our broth without us having to ask. I would definitely return!
I was waiting about 30 minutes until I was sitting with my friends, it was okay because there were busy. But the lady asked us to finish in a hurry when we were almost done but not done yet. We were sitting for almost one hour from sit to leave. She was frowning when I asked her one more sauce. She messed up our dinner time. This is not a first time they were rude. I will never come again.
This was my first time at Gom Shabu Shabu, and I absolutely loved it! The staff was attentive and made sure the broth stayed hot throughout the meal. The all-you-can-eat menu was perfect for our group of six. My son was thrilled to cook his own dinner. Gom Shabu Shabu is a fantastic spot for families with kids of all ages.

We always have a great experience here- including our dining experience 2 days ago! Even though they are usually busy during weekends, staff is always very responsive and food is always good. My kids who don’t eat very much normally also like this place. Thank you Gom Shabu!
The food was incredibly tasty—I didn’t even get a chance to snap a photo! My family had an amazing experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back soon. The atmosphere was great, with the noise level perfectly balanced for our group of six to enjoy easy conversation.

The hot pot is tasty, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The dumplings are especially large! While the flavors aren't particularly innovative, dining here is a lot of fun.
