Ordered a large peach slush with pearls over the phone. Guy said it came with star jelly (didn’t know but ok yay! Mom went to pick it up as we were on our way somewhere and I noticed there was a thick white layer of cream on top but was too busy putting my card back in my wallet to notice anything strange. I was charged $9.60 for a drink so I looked at the receipt and I was charged for a large milk foam peach slush with star jelly. It also had absolutely no ice in it as a slush should. Just liquid and this gooey white foam mixture I had never seen before. (I’ve never ordered milk foam I called back and they said that’s how the peach slush comes. No! This is the first review I have ever written to inform people about how terrible this restaurant is. I am a big fan of Gong Cha, but this is the worst store I have ever visited. I asked for 30% sugar in my drink, but it tasted like it had 100% sugar. I complained, but they insisted they made it correctly. The atmosphere was not bustling at all, with only a few customers waiting, but I had to wait over 20 minutes to receive a simple cup of iced tea. I hope others reading this review do not have the same negative experience as I did.
It just took too long ~30-40 minutes) for 1 milk tea with boba and the taste was mediocre. It wasn't worth the wait and, the workers prepping the drink didn't seem to know what they were doing, which delayed the drinks even further.I've been to better gong cha locations in nyc, but unfortunately this one didn't quite live up to my expectations.
The service was fast, with knowledgeable staff who prepared the boba tea quickly after ordering. The price is reasonable, ranging from 4-6 dollars. I would definitely return. Parking is limited, with only a few spots available on a busy street.

Drinks were nice, per usual, but the music was so loud the server couldn't hear my repeated order and conversation was difficult.
Recently, I went to this place a few times. It's a great place, and I love the K-pop music they play too!
