Good Food By Uzma

So I stopped in for the first time on my way home from work, with intentions of trying something new. The woman who greeted me was very kind and patient with me as I explained to her that I was unfamiliar with most foods on the menu. She inquired about what meats/flavors/spiciness that I liked, then recommended me the beef nihari. I agreed, and she invited me to sit at an empty table in the restaurant while I wait since I was taking it to go. She then offered me a cup of chai tea while I waited, and I gratefully accepted. I noticed the restaurant dining area was a very nice, comfortable place to eat. She soon came out with the chai and some sugar. The chai was delicious. A waiter told me that she was Uzma! An amazing, kind, and professional business owner who clearly had a lot of pride in her establishment. Now, this is the first time I've tried beef nihari and WOW. It was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had at a great price. Under $20! She gave me a container of lime slices, long hot pepper slices, fresh ginger and cilantro, and told me to add it to taste to the dish, and it really made all the flavors pop. It was an absolutely amazing meal and wonderful interaction there tonight. I will absolutely return and I'll bring my friends! Thank you, Uzma! I would add a photo of the dish, but I ate it too fast! i went for desi breakfast. chana puri plater was nice and tasty. but portion size was very small. we are desi people we eat a lot. keema was horrible . naan were great. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $100+ Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Would highly recommend anyone craving good Pakistani/desi food. Everything is made fresh and taste amazing. Service is also top notch. Feels like home! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Although place, location and atmosphere is good but needs a little house keeping, specially entrance needs some fresh flower pots and welcoming words. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
