We love Mexican food, and trying new places. But the food was HORRIBLE, the salsa tasted more like marinara than salsa, I ordered cheese enchiladas, the plates the food was served on was boiling hot, but the food was ice cold. The cheese in the enchiladas wasn’t even melted, not even a little. The server never came over to do the double check after dropping the food at the table, so I had to wait, until she finally came around and I had to flag her over. They then just put my plate back into the oven, with the lettuce and sour cream, my food still wasn’t hot and now I had wilted lettuce and melted warm sour cream. At this point it was a lost cause. Unfortunately for us, we had a bad experience and will never order from here again. The taco salad consisted of only shredded chicken, lettuce, and sour cream in a tortilla bowl that was soggy and greasy. The beans, tomatoes, avocado, and cheese were all missing. The texture resembled that of cat food. I was working all day and on limited time, so since it was delivered, we did not have the availability to call the restaurant, request a replacement , and wait another 40 minutes. My husband's steak burrito was lacking in flavor; you could barely taste any steak. Very disappointed and will not order from here again.
So I have loved this place for years. My girlfriends and I used to come here every week for their Monday or Thursday margarita special. Our very favorite server was named Hermán, and sadly he was asked to leave this restaurant by the manager. We are heartbroken, as Hermán has become a friend to us over the years and is an exceptional employee. My friends and I will not be returning after years coming here, as clearly they do not value employees who are going through a hard time and treat customers like family.
GREAT margaritas, GREAT price, GREAT food!!!! The staff are extremely kind and attentive. If you're looking for a chill atmosphere with great food, go to Good Teq's!!! This is specifically for the Glendale Heights location as we have not been to any of the others.

I recently visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying their Hawaiian Fajitas, they were amazing. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
We stopped here for a late lunch without the kiddos. Food was great. Chorizo, Carnitas were amazing. Tamales are good as well. Will bring the kids next time, when we are back in the area. Loved all the painted chairs too!

Some of the very best Mexican food I've ever had! Very clean atmosphere and very nice waiter! Would highly recommend! We live an hour and a half away and we will be back!!!
