But our seating was so miserable we left early.Our table for two was placed right in the middle of the door opening between the inside and the outside patio. I want to preface with: I’ve been to this restaurant many times. In general, my opinion has been the food is good, albeit too expensive for what it is, drinks are ok but terrible pours on wine cocktails (also too expensive), and when it comes to service; it’s really more the illusion of good service. There isn’t a hospital bone in that restaurant. My last experience there was towards the end of the night a bartender standing over our table waiting for us to finish our drinks so she could take the glasses from us. The wild mushroom slippery noodles were delicious, and I appreciate the family-style dining, but this dish did not resemble the fresh creation we had seen on Instagram. The Walnut Shrimp had an odd combination of cold vinegar slaw piled on top of warm, sweetly sauced shrimp, making the presentation quite messy. When I inquired about it, the server seemed unsure if our order had been prepared correctly.
While the prices were very reasonable, I would honestly have preferred to pay a bit more for a meal and experience that were truly memorable.
Had our wedding dinner here after a ceremony at Tarrytown House Estate. We booked the Trophy Room for 18 people. I can’t imagine how it could have been any better. Maybe the best meal of my life. Service was impeccable, space was beautiful and food was absolutely delicious. We worked with Grace throughout the process of getting the dinner set up and everything was smooth and painless since step 1. Legitimately a perfect night that I’ll never forget.

Restaurant located at Tarrytown House, this place serves up a eclectic variety of Chinese fusion plates brought to the table in a Cantonese-style restaurant approach (they bring the family-shared dishes as they are ready). Food is a bit on a pricey side for the portions that are served but the flavors are unique. Cocktails and mocktails are great but service can be a bit slow especially at peak dinner times.
I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. The menu features unique and playful adaptations of Asian dishes. The pork belly with black cherry and Chinese mustard was a surprising and delicious flavor combination. The estate also has a lovely lawn for a stroll afterwards, and the cocktails at the bar are delightful.
We had such a wonderful birthday meal here. All of the food was top notch. I highly recommend the duck and I’ll be thinking about the lobster and clam noodle dish for years to come. Service was knowledgeable and friendly.
I absolutely love this place! The rice is consistently delicious, and almost everything else on the menu is fantastic too. The cocktails are also excellent! It's perfect for a brunch outing or a dinner date.

We drove from manhattan and visited goosefeather and I would say it has great ambience, great foods and drinks!I would definitely come visit again.
