Gourmet 88 - Réserver une table

I had avoided trying this pub before because I felt it had an old-man-pub vibe, but I had so many recommendations about the food my friends and I decided to give it a try. We had a wonderful evening. The food is absolutely brilliant, and I am glad I booked, as it looked like every table in the pub, front and back was reserved for dinner! Everyone, staff and customers alike, was friendly. This is a really lovely pub. I will definitely come back again! :

12 of us had lunch there, a decent selection of traditional and Thai meals were on the menu and my party chose various meals. All were freshly prepared and arrived at the table together and most importantly all were hot. Every meal was enjoyed and washed down with some well kept ales. Well worth a visit!

Luckily found this pub several months ago and have been back for excellent lunchtime meals choosing from the English Thai menu's. We walk from Worthing and always ready for our drink and food both of which have been excellent on each occasion and the service is excellent as well. Full marks!

A big thank you to Janey and all the staff at The Sov for a lovely meal last Friday night. Great services as always from the lovely Leanne and great cooking from young Russ. We even managed to get home in one piece (just). Can highly recommend it for a good night out.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, nice selection of gins and tonics and the Thai food is totally to die for.
