Gourmet Burger Kitchen

This restaurant in Bracknell is the worst. It's just a small step above McDonald's but at twice the price. The restaurant has canteen-style tables and you have to order at the bar, there is no table service. They only had three choices for starters and one of the items we wanted was not available. The selection of cocktails and drinks was not great either. The cocktails we wanted were not available. The service was poor, with fries coming out over 5 minutes after the burger. It seemed like they were more focused on takeaways like McDonald's rather than the customers dining in. No one came to ask if our meal was okay, probably because they already knew the answer. I could see the kitchen staf...

The burgers here are simply the best in the area. They have a lovely smoky flavour to them, unlike anything else. You can buy GBK branded burgers in Waitrose but they taste nothing like the restaurant ones. Oh, and it's not just their burgers their Cajun fries and onion rings are also excellent, crispy and not greasy. Excellent food that keeps me coming back (we even get Deliveroo orders to my workplace as a rare treat!

I had another fantastic meal at this restaurant. The burger, skinny fries, and chicken tenders were all delicious. The prices here are very reasonable as well. A tip for customers: always ask if the tips that you leave go directly to the servers. In this instance, we were informed that the tips were kept by the staff, so we paid our bill by card and left a cash tip for our server.

Terrible food. We ordered two burgers medium rare and they were charred and burnt. The size of the patties was another issue we had, they were kids sized and you couldn’t even see the burger beneath the bun.

Excellent friendly service, great food, served nice and quickly. Interesting choice of toppings too…my son loved smashed avocado on his burger!
