Gourmet Burger Kitchen

My wife and I visited this GBK branch with a 50% off voucher. The restaurant is spacious, with seating on two floors. The toilets are located on the second floor, which seemed a bit odd. They offered three vegan burger options and clearly labelled vegan sides. We both chose the Californian burger, with Sweet Potato Fries for me and Skinny Fries for my wife. We also ordered a pot of BBQ relish each, with mine being free with the fries. The burger, made with a Quorn chickenless fillet, had an interesting mix of fillings and was tasty, although I found it a bit small. The sweet potato fries were also good, and the BBQ relish was delicious. Despite enjoying the meal, we didn't feel very full afterwards and I ended up eating a hot cross bun right after. At full price, my burger and fries would have cost £16.50, which felt like a lot for not feeling satisfied. My wife also didn't feel full after her meal. I would recommend visiting with a voucher, but it's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at.

I went here because they had a free burger deal if you downloaded the app. If I'd paid the actual price for that burger I would have been pissed.

For a burger place you'd expect them to do good burgers - and they don't disappoint! The choice is great and they're bursting with flavour.

The burgers are just okay, and considering the price, you're better off dining elsewhere.
