I had the best gyro I've ever tasted at this restaurant! Although I'm from Mason, OH, I make it down to Kentucky occasionally and had no idea this place existed. The name can be misleading, as they offer a wide range of dishes, including breakfast, not just chili. My server, Brenda, was wonderful—pretty, friendly, and very efficient, providing excellent service all around. She shared the daily specials, and when I mentioned I was in the mood for comfort food, she informed me that they serve homemade meatloaf on Thursdays. I’ll definitely be returning!
This is a long time local favorite hidden gem that you should make the effort to come across the river or across town to come visit the prices are very economical they only accept cash so bring your money but not your card. I wish they were on Uber eats or doordash this would be a fantastic place for a ghost kitchen to increase their sales I highly recommend you stop by and try the chili or the steak dinner they are both fantastic.
First time here and wasn’t disappointed. In town on business and this dive was recommended by the hotel staff where I was staying in Newport, KY. Fantastic Gyro; reasonable pricing, clean and the best part was the beautiful server. A dark haired beauty. Captivating eyes, bright smile and suuuuuweeeeet. A hidden gem in Newport, KY! We visited on a Monday night and were the only patrons in the restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The service was quick, efficient, and attentive. The food was delicious and very affordable! We will definitely return. Please note that this restaurant is cash-only, but there's an ATM on-site for your convenience.

You won't find a better family owned diner in Northern Kentucky. The people are friendly and take good care of you. The food assortment gives you plenty of options. Easily the best stewed tomatoes I've ever had... but they are only on Friday's and occasionally through the week. I've been going here for 30 years. Must have regularly!

The people were very friendly. And the facities were clean.The food wasn't particularly special but it was made well and served hot and fresh which is more than I can say for some higher priced eateries.My wife and I left quite certain that we got good value for the price we paid.
