Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .
Venue was really nice and the grounds were also very scenic. They have many animals on site including a peacock which looks beautiful! Came here for a wedding, staff were all nice and friendly. Food tasted decent too nothing spectacular but it also wasn't horrible either, 7/10 for food. Drink prices weren't that bad, although charging me £11 for a double Kraken and Coke is a bit of a rip off in my opinion. For a 3* hotel the room was really nice and the bed was nice and comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. I had a really good time here, thanks to all the staff!
Booked another hotel but was so disappointed that we booked out immediately and came across this lovely hotel. What a spot of good luck from the very first foot in the door we were met with a warm welcome from the staff. Very nice room,clean and tidy with on suite facility. We had a evening meal here and was one of the best I have had for some time,also had breakfast two mornings and both were of a very high standard. There is a bar which was stocked with a good selection of wine,beers. Would stay again without hesitation.
Just got back from my wedding at Grains Bar Hotel! 100% would recommend. Everything ran perfectly and Lisa and Louise were instrumental to that! The ceremony room and the function room were beautiful and all of the staff were constantly on hand to help (including helping me pin my dress up so I could walk later on! fab food on the day and the morning after. The best start to married life. Thank you for everything!

Grains Bar Hotel is just breath taking. The views are outstanding. The food is amazing, the staff are so polite and friendly . The rooms are spotless and the bed is the comfiest I have ever slept on in a hotel. I would recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed. Every time we come to Oldham we stay here.
We had a lovely stay. Staff were very welcoming, and happy to help. It was the staff Christmas do on the night we stayed but they were still ‘up and at ‘em’ in the morning to cook an excellent breakfast. Room was warm comfortable, with a nice new bathroom. Lovely views walks from the location too.
Excellent location and a really nice place and environment to have a meet up with friends. Menu was just right enough choice and reasonable cost. Great service as not rushed and staff friendly. Very happy to go again anytime and we all will. No hesitation in recommending this fine restaurant.
Went to a fabulous wedding last night and stayed over in the hotel… the venue was fantastic… very well organised …. Beautiful food in the evening and perfect breakfast in the morning My room had amazing views and was lovely! The bathroom was gleaming! Highly recommend a stay over

Held our daughters wedding here yesterday and a great time was had by all. Louise and all the staff were fantastic, very efficient and so friendly. The ceremony and function rooms are lovely. Thank you Grains Bar staff for helping to make the day go smoothly.
Went to my nieces wedding here and was quite surprised at how nice it was. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough. The room was great too.
