Grampa's Catfish Seafood

If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, I definitely would! I visited their food truck and was looking forward to getting fried catfish, shrimp, and fries. However, when the food arrived at our house (just 2 blocks away), I was extremely disappointed. The French fries were undercooked and hard, with a cold center. The catfish was not fully cooked and the shrimp were still gray. When I called the restaurant to speak to the owner about the issue, they initially denied any responsibility until they realized it was their food truck. They then asked me to return the food with the receipt for a replacement, but I was not willing to eat their food again. They refused to refund the $13.99...

The visit started with a smile as we were immediately greeted at the door and seated. Our server, Bryan, was delightful and fast. Our beer was served with a very cold mug making it icy and delicious as we waited a short time for our cheese stick appetizer. Wow! They were very large sticks of perfect crunch and melty cheese. Our food arrived almost immediately after we finished the appetizer and our server was quick to continue to bring us whatever we needed, including a fresh frosty mug with each drink. Gramps has updated their menu! Now serving steak, hamburgers, and some new appetizers! The new menus look GREAT and there was a really good crowd in the house last Thursday evening. Of course service is ALWAYS the best at Gramps. I don't live in Maumelle but I always enjoy an opportunity to dine with friends at my favorite catfish place. Friendly, family-loving (there was a birthday party for a young man, looked to be around 5 or so, while we were there and just a comfortable pleasant experience all around. Thank you Gramps for YOUR work and all you do so we feel welcome and can relax and unwind around a delicious meal in a family atmosphere!

I highly recommend trying the Fried Catfish with Fried Okra and Hushpuppies, as well as the Fish and Shrimp Combo with Pinto Beans and Onion Rings. Both dishes were delicious and left me completely satisfied. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely return to this restaurant in the future. Réservez une table maintenant

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and the price per person was between $20 and $30. The food was rated a 4 out of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Shrimp Combo with Pinto Beans and Onion Rings, as well as the Fried Catfish with Potato Salad.

omg! Today everything was amazing. we had grilled fish, fried fish, chicken tsarties, fried garnels and roasted green tomatoes. be merciful! everything was delicious. beyond that our waitress megan was super nice. we loved her! we will find ourselves the most.

We ate here for the first time this past saturday night and LOVED it!! Very comfortable atmosphere and the food was amazing!! Lots of food for the price! We took leftovers home. We will be back soon
