It is rare today to meet smiling waiters, assistants etc. As retired teacher for hospitality professinals I say that our experience on Whitsun Sunday was excellent. The coffee was stylish, the ice cream was perfect and the service was pleasant, helpful and patient. Our 3.5-year-old little girl and her dad, friend and even I were satisfied and grateful for this beautiful trip to Toelzer Land. It's just an hour from Muenchen by train.
Ice cream for lunch? Why not! The cafe had a great variety, and we all chose something exciting and a little bit different. I had a delicious butterscotch and nut sundae, whilst my friends chose blueberry sundae, chocolate nut sundae, cherry spaghetti ice and a fruit pizza! They were all lovely, and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
Inside as cold as outside, the place a bit too loud and tight. The tables are too small when you order more than one ice cream. The staff nice, the prices acceptable.
