We went to the Carlyle Hotel for lunch with a group of 8, and were able to get a table without a reservation easily. We used the new me&u ordering system from our table, which was simple to navigate. Although I made a few mistakes, the staff were happy to correct them for us. The food was delicious and portion sizes were good. There was a slight delay in getting our meals, and the kids' ice cream was forgotten initially, but was brought out when reminded. Overall, it was a delightful lunch experience. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a midday get-together. The meals were well presented, tidy, and reasonably priced. We would definitely dine here again.
quiet bar bistro adjustment with comfortable seating. all meals half price on Monday, all meals $15 on Tuesday. except for the specials boards. book them in these nights. they have been on this site for more than half dozens, and the steaks and seafood are great. scotch filler steaks are our speciality. they were cooked on request every time seafood platter has beautiful thick cuts of gummy shark flocken. only the question is that the seafood can be overcooked occasionally. yet the taste does not ruin even though great hotel dining room. one of the better ones in hobart.
Eating is a standard pub court. on the day we visited the only vegetarian option was not available. the personal advised that they could offer the pasta dishes as a vegetarian option, but the provided meal did not correspond to the pasta dishes minus meat. the cost for the vegetarian option were the same as the meat version.
I received a VIP ticket to Footy Fanatics where the meal and drinks were complimentary. Although I only had a soft drink, the meal was excellent. It was my first time trying a steak at Granada, and I enjoyed the entertainment as well. Overall, it was an awesome night. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful evening.

Good food, surprisingly good atmosphere, and a great kids area too. Traditional pub fare, but we're happy to accommodate our needs and requests from all in our group. We were a large group, and they had a few large groups, but we were served quickly anyway with tasty food.

The staff at the restaurant are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was simple but very clean, although it would be helpful to have curtains or blinds to block out the bright security lights at night. Overall, everything else was great.
Visit the Carlyle at least once a week, seniors meals are great, prices are excellent, cannot get better staff, food nice and hot and not too much food on the plate for seniors, love this place, thanks to all
