Came here for a snack lunch in between rain showers and sat on the covered terraced area.. Very pleasant staff offered us the menu, and returned when she saw we were ready to order. We ordered two Toast Hawaiis,( two slices of toast with ham, pineapple covered with melted cheese) and a coke and a glass of wine. The wine was such good quality that I decided to have another one, and my wife had a coffee. By the time we had finished the place was full with visitors, who all seemed to enjoyed their food. We were in the area looking for something fast to eat and saw the menu by the entrance. I did not check the reviews and rating because it was a pretty hot day, until we sat. Ordered fish and chips for our son and a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza with side salad for us. Waitress was nice and polite, food was brought by the “cook”. Everything was not made in, was actually cheap frozen items done fast. Disappointed about finding a place like this in Germany. Every place we have go in two family vacation has been always great and homey. They should sell out.
Decent food, friendlyish service. They charged us over 6eur for tap water that was given to us in glasses that did not even add up to a litre despite that we asked for bottled water. They didn't even give us ketchup with hotdog and chips and when we asked they charged us 40cents for each sachet which is given free everywhere. Im sorry this was ridiculous....
We have been here several times over the last five years, and always look forward to friendly service from the long-serving waitress. We like sitting on the terrace watching the other tourists, but there are indeed regular freight trains coming though, on the railway line which lies between the street and the river.

a very child-friendly snack. we returned at very hot weather and before we got adult our drinks, my son got his ordered glass lead water unconditional and free. also his food came first and a satisfied child makes parents and grandparents happy. the service is friendly and the prices are human.
We were glad to see the two friendly older ladies again (I think it must be their bar) and as ever didn't have the heart to forego the famous Ruedesheimer Café. It's coffee, brandy and whipped cream, good for cold weather.In the summer it's good to sit out on the terrace.
We called in to this familiar stop, and enjoyed a chat about the football with the young man serving. Only us there when we went in. When the weather's good, it's very pleasant here on the terrace.
This café with terrace looks onto the Rhine, but there are trains passing through regularly. The service was friendly and the Ruedesheimer Kaffee just what was needed on a cold day.

super nice service and eating has cost great. the view of the Rhine is also very beautiful. we can only recommend the restaurant.
Small menu carte, but good and big portions and from the terrasse is a beautiful wiew over the Rhein
