since 11 years we have been guests of the grande hotel cala rossa. the service, the quality of each portion is the merit of the very high reviews they receive constantly. we enjoyed the wonderful little tellers, the Sunday buffet, which we enjoyed three weeks, were all spectacular. all fresh from the sea, meat dishes, salads and desserts to die. the dinner service outdoors in the summer is nicely served. the ingredients, fresh, many of there beautiful gardens are beautiful. as someone who spends three months a year in Europe and dunes in michelin stared restaurants, I can't judge eating high enough. we will always return, do not miss this wonderful resort with its first-class service and eat...
We had high expectations of this place since it has 2 Michellin stars but we were left disappointed, especially given the HIGH price tag. The terrace is pretty but we had table facing a sort of wall that looked like it had been put up temporarily (maybe to stop the wind?)The service was professional but a bit slow - we had to ask a number of times for our wine glasses to be topped up. It seemed like they were maybe more attentive to the French customers. The food was alright. I didn't like the sauce in my main course (I'm not a picky eater by any means). I wouldn't recommend this place, there are definitely better and less expensive places to try in the area.
Really absolutely loved this restaurant. Was very easy to make an online reservation. Went there for my birthday and my boyfriend and I had the 7 course tasting menu. Price is much lower than San Francisco prices for 2 Michelin star restaurants. The service was outstanding, everybody spoke English very well, explained the food and was very attentive. Setting is also lovely. Food was fantastic. The foie gras course was some of the best things I have ever had. So glad we came here. Thank you Lionel and the rest of the staff for a memorable birthday dinner.
Nous avons apprécié le dîner à l'extérieur des pins dans cet élégant restaurant. Nous partageons des aubergines farcies. Mon ami avait des pâtes à l'huile d'olive et à l'ail, et moi des coqs d'agneau en croûte et des artichauts au jus. Nous avons mangé des gâteaux au citron pour le dessert, qui ressemblaient à un fondant au citron. Ils ont apporté des petits quatre mini muffins et des mini cuisines. Dîner fabuleux avec un service très chaleureux et attentionné.

The food, service and decor were wonderful. The evening we ate here, there was an unexpected rainstorm and the staff was quick to assist diners in moving indoors and the gazebo-like dining area. Our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive, humorous and a plus for my partner and I spoke English very well. Worth the money.

This hotel/resort was not for us although it was very nice If you're looking for a spa and michelin star restaurant then this place would be perfect.
