Grand Hôtel de Solesmes

We came here after visiting the most excellent Abbeye du St Pierre opposite.A major refurbishment is taking place but the restaurant was still open.The waiter spoke impeccable English and we really enjoyed our food and wine here. There are cheaper places to eat but this is very good food , impeccably served and it really is good to indulge at times. A good fine dining experience.

Beautiful decor, attentive service, and delicious food. Was a bit on the more expensive side of mid range but worth it. Our table was by the window with a view of the garden. Very convenient to have lunch here and then go to the 1:50pm chanting at the Abbaye. But verify the schedule hasn't changed. They have cancelled that time the day we visited.

No dislikes. We are regulars at the hotel and find the choice and value in the restaurant provide exactly what we are seeking. The menus offered always contain old favourites but there is a fresh choice offered daily. The staff could not be more attentive.

Great atmosphere, lovely service and fantastic food, Beautifully presented, gorgeous flavours and interesting variety. Wine list needs a week to read through marvellous selection. Cannot wait to go back in October.

Consistently good food on the 4 nights we are here. The cheese course is well worth having. Old fashioned service, but none the worse for that.
