Just north of Toowoomba, we stayed in this town overnight and had dinner at this pub. It was a quiet weeknight, with a few locals dining. Typical pub setting and furniture. Great fireplace in the public bar! The menu consisted of your average pub meals however with week night deals. Eg. Buy 1 meal pay $5 for second. We were amazed by the curry special (beef vindaloo with papadums) -I'm often hesitant to get a curry at a pub but was pleased. While the mash (with bangers) was best we've ever had! The publican wouldn't share the ingredients, just said it was 'mum's old recipe'. Food was served quickly and staff were pleasant. Finally, there is a kids' room to entertain the littlies.

I hadn't been to the Grand Old Crow for a long time so went with a friend and our two kids. I ordered the reef and beef ($35) and my daughter had the Chicken parmigana $22.50, so they're not the cheapest of 'pub' meals but they were of the best standard, which makes the price well worth it! During the week they have specials too, which can be seen on the website, as can a full menu, since I just checked. Anyway, I ordered my steak medium-rare and that is exactly how it was cooked. The seafood and sauce was delicious, and service was quick and staff friendly and helpful. I reckon I'll be eating there more often in future!

Was a group booking [a motorcycle club] - club was charged way over what would have cost if bought seperately [+ even charged fully for those unable to eat all courses]. Unwilling to adapt to peoples' allergies - very sour & unco-operative when asked [didn't/refused to supply alternative - even a simple bowl of fruit for those gluten/dairy intolerant]. Vegies overcooked [maybe from lunch & kept], meat dry] As a direct descendent of the original white settlers [Littleton's] in this area. Was extremely embarrassed. Definitely would not recommend.

This Hotel is NOT in NSW, but, cant change it to Qld? Anyway, delightful Pub. Great staff, great pub food, charming old building. The accommodation was typical authentic Pub style - good and clean beds, spotless shared bathrooms, affordable. Nice atmosphere. The town is so friendly and compact and the National park beautiful! The Antique shop adjacent to the Pub "Roger Salt Antiques" is a must to see, incredible amount of spectacular furniture. Réservez une table maintenant

We went to the pub for tea and was very surprised for a country pub. Very clean, very polite people, easy to order meals.Price wise very surprised how cheap food and drinks are compared to brisbane, half the price. I had roast pork, the meat fell apart when putting knife in it.Would recommend pub to others. Great country pub.Rest of pub very clean.

Clearly a popular venue for locals and visitors alike. Very good food promptly made. Wait staff came to clear the tables fast too, but one negative is we sat outside and the tables needed a wipe, looked clean at first but covered in road grime, they needed a good wipe down.Good friendly service and very tidy venue

We stayed here for a night away and had a great time. Amy and her staff have created a welcoming, relaxed place to spend a night. Food was a typical pub menu but fresh and the service quick. Accommodation was clean and quiet. The pub and town is also motorbike friendly.

Efficient friendly staff, a nice public bar, good food in quality, quantity and value - those were the pluses. On the downside, the pokies room was soulless and the "beer garden" was quite hideous. Rather sit on the streetside settings or eat in the pub. Réservez une table maintenant
