Granny B's Closed

We happened to find this place when we first arrived in Anchorage in the morning, close to the airport and had good ratings, it looked pretty unassuming on the outside, decided to give it a try and boy were we glad we did. Best breakfast place anywhere period. Best homestyle, granny cooking, comfort food you'll find. Enjoyed pancakes, omelette, country eggs benedict with ham and country gravy. Too bad we found out they were closed on the day we left (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Cash only and worth it to put down a few bills for great service and food. We'll definitely go back if we find ourselves in Anchorage again.

Breakfast is my favorite meal and Granny B knows breakfast. Small, clean, with busy walls and the breakfast menu has it all. The hash browns are crispy perfect and the blueberry pancakes are amazing. Surrounded by eggs and bacon my day started well. I will be back to Granny’s soon again!

Stopped in for a hardy diner breakfast while visiting family. Be aware they only take cash no debit or credit cards. Make sure to check days open. Fun kitch Alaska items throughout.

This is a old-timey home cooking cafe style place off the old highway. Lots of regulars rolling in and fun pictures of the Iditarod and various other Alaska...
