Despite the current rating on Zomato about this restaurant (2.5/5), we decided to check this place out on Thursday shopping night since it had spare tables and we were in the mood for some oily foods (usually we aren't :P).
The layout of the seating and venue was pretty clean, organised and cute. There were pictures hanging on the walls which made the place quite homily and the chairs were comfortable despite no cushion.
The menu is slightly higher than what I had expected for an average chinese food place. We ended up ordering a fried prawn dish with special sauce along with the signature noodles dish. The prawns were really good and the noodles were on-point with its flavour and oiliness....
This noodle shop closes late at night. When I finished up my work at 10pm and didn't have my dinner, I went to Burwood and only to find this restaurant open.
The surroundings are clean and decorated in Chinese style. The fortune cats in the front of the restaurant are cute. #Granny's signature beef soup noodles# is good for beef, and beans at the top. But the soup tastes like they had put too much spices.
When my partner and I waited for our dinner, I saw the waitress dropping a block on the floor. I saw her go in the direction kitchen and thought she was washing the dirty chiffel. Instead, they mixed the dirty chiffel with the clean chiffels that were provided on the table for the customers. she wonders how many times she did this without anyone noticed. hasn't even been wrong about eating.
Good Taiwaness beef noodle. I don't know why other people only gave it 2.8. You know, with only less than 20 dollars, you can fill your stomach with good noodle. I can't find an excuse don't give it a high point. If you wish service like a three star Michelin，you choose a wrong place.

Regardless there is surcharge on credit card payment , the noodle are quite good , I'm northern Chinese and I always pick on Chinese food I ate oversea , but this one meet my standard to be a good beef noodle soup
Granny’s noodle is one of the nude restaurants I visited in burwood. my favorite is the subtitle rindernudeln suppe. I like to adjust it with less oil and with fresh chili.
Oily noodle soup made me sick for days...wasn't an pleasant experience... the bathroom at the back was shocking... the entire restaurant is not clean enough

Nice food but expensive for what you get and the interior is plain, almost like a food court,still the service is fast though
I've been here a few times before, and I always get the signature noodles.
