I stopped by the restaurant for some coffee and discovered some delicious treats! Ended up bringing my friends back with me - the outdoor seating area is ideal for relaxing and enjoying good food. Some of our favorite dishes include the Yucca Patty, peanut butter parfait, egg sandwich panini, and peanut butter parfait balls. The wraps are also flavorful and diverse. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The interior decor is cute as well.
I have been going to Grassroots for almost ten years now and it has become a staple for me. The food is excellent, with fantastic muffins, baked goods, and a variety of delicious options. The smoothies are also top-notch. The staff is always friendly, and Rob, the owner, is often there to greet you and engage in pleasant conversation.
What a lovely place for lunch! We came across it while visiting in Glen Cove, by looking it up on Yelp. My husband and I shared a veggie burger , a yucca burger, kale miso salad and brussel sprouts. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly, making great suggestions. We'll be sure to return.
The café offers excellent regular brewed coffee and iced coffee. I highly recommend trying the egg sandwich with turkey bacon - it's delicious! Love this place. The best owners ever. Warm and caring staff. I usually stop in for my coffee fix. Variety of healthy breakfast items. Also salads , desserts,healthy juices. Parking in the back. Very convenient.

Amazing fresh healthy option, with amazing caring staff. It's the first place I head to when I'm in the area. Juices, soups, greens, coffee, and pastries.
