I was hungry and went in for a meal while waiting for my car to be serviced. I ordered pasta with a meatball and vegetables...simple, no? The meal was inedible. I'm not sure what was wrong with the meatball, but the whole meal tasted like nothing but a hint of stale grease. It managed to be both greasy and watery at the same time, with the sauce refusing to cling to the pasta at all. It was a very small portion for $15 worth of food, and I didn't eat as much as half of it. Even the toast was under toasted and over greased. Awful. At least the beer was decent. I told the waitress how dreadful the meal was, she could see for herself that I didn't eat more than a few bites of it, and there was...
I decided I wanted a simple, quick meal. I went to this Greco location to order a meatball sub. I've had them before and they've always been good.This takeout order should have been a breeze to prepare. Put the meatballs and sauce in the bun, top with cheese and bake. Ten minutes from order to departure should have done it. It took 35 minutes of standing in the vestibule before I had the product in hand.On the plus side, the sub tasted as good as ever. On the negative side, after waiting that long, I was not in the mood to enjoy it.
I was in North Bay over the August long weekend. My 87 year old mother wanted pizza for dinner (go figure why a woman of her age loves pizza). We ordered The Meat Pizza in Medium size. The toppings are: back bacon, ham, Italian sausage and pepperoni. The toppings were so plentiful that only half the pie was consumed. The left over half was eaten for lunch on the following day. A definite "will order again". Kudos to all the staff as well.
I have been going here since the 70's. I live out of town now but we still have family in the Bay so we are there often. Great pizza with a generous amount of toppings. The italian sausage has a little bite to it. It is a little pricier as it isn't one of those two for one stores but definitely worth it. There are 2 of them in the Bay but the best one is the one on Algonquin Ave. Enjoy!!! Réservez une table maintenant
We were in North bay for the night with our 2 kids stopped in for supper. Staff were very friendly. Got a 4 meat pizza, risotto and Friday bread. Everything was good talked with staff for 20-30 minutes about business as I am in the same space in a different market. Would definitely go back :)
